Our mission

To make insurance, pension and mortgage financing matters easier to understand, enabling you to make informed decisions and protecting your interests over the long term.

Our specialists apply their expertise to analyse your situation neutrally, compare available solutions objectively and support you personally at every stage, particularly when managing and settling claims.

Independence embedded in our ownership structure

Assidu SA is 100% owned by the founding Dubied family and members of management who are operationally involved in the company.

Our capital therefore remains in the hands of people who work in the business every day, independently of stock-market pressures and international corporate groups.

This ownership structure supports long-term decision-making: the future of the company, its reputation and the interests of our clients take precedence over short-term returns.

It also gives us the freedom to compare the solutions available on the market and recommend those that are best suited to each client’s situation.

A family council focused on generational continuity

Our family council helps preserve the company’s values and ensure continuity of the entrepreneurial project from one generation to the next. The third generation is now actively involved in Assidu, continuing the project initiated by its founder.

Members of the founding family and shareholder-managers remain operationally involved in client work, as advisers, specialists and portfolio managers. This proximity keeps management closely connected to the realities faced by our clients and teams, and to developments in the market.

Frequently asked questions about Assidu and insurance brokerage

An insurance agent, or tied insurance intermediary, distributes the products of the insurance company that employs or mandates them. An insurance broker, or untied insurance intermediery is mandated by the client compares offers from several insurers and represents the client's interests in negotiations. At Assidu, this comparison draws on more than 80 insurance and banking partners. This distinction is set out in the Swiss Insurance Supervision Act (ISA) and determines how an intermediary is classified and registered with FINMA.

An independent insurance broker analyses a client’s needs, obtains and compares offers from several insurance companies, negotiates suitable terms and supports the client in implementing and managing the resulting solutions. Unlike an insurance agent, an independent broker is not tied to a single insurance company and represents the client’s interests.

Assidu combines multidisciplinary in-house expertise, family ownership and a strong regional presence. This structure provides clients with stable points of contact, short decision-making channels and long-term support.

The entire share capital of Assidu SA is held by the founding Dubied family and members of management who are actively involved in the company. Assidu is neither publicly listed nor controlled by an investment fund or multinational group.
